That’s when Frankie Sinatro, P.I., adjusted his fedora and called in the Cat Pack.

Frankie inspected the outlet first. Samy checked the extension cord. Deano watched the tree closely, tail flicking with suspicion. Oreo guarded the snacks (very important work). Billie kept lookout from the window.

Then Frankie spotted it. Tiny paw prints. A loose plug. And a very guilty squirrel darting away with a twitch of its tail.

“A classic case of holiday interference,” Frankie muttered.

With one careful paw, Frankie fixed the plug. The lights flickered… then burst to life. The tree sparkled brighter than ever. Case closed.
