Frankie uncovered not a crime… but a miracle — Deano’s brave FIP survivor story. The softest, most powerful mystery yet.

⭐ The Case of the Missing Turkey Leg ⭐
Thanksgiving week had arrived, and the Smart household smelled like heaven. Roasted vegetables, cinnamon rolls cooling on the counter, and one very important object of feline interest: Mr. Smart's special turkey leg.
It sat proudly on a plate on the kitchen counter, seasoned to perfection. It glistened like a treasure worthy of a museum. Mr. Smart had announced — loudly — that no one, absolutely no one, was allowed to touch it until dinner.
Naturally, this meant the Cat Pack was instantly obsessed. But later that afternoon… the plate was empty. The turkey leg was gone.
With a paw step as confident as a seasoned detective, Frankie Sinatro, P.I., pushed through the swinging kitchen door. His coat swished behind him, and a magnifying glass was firmly in his paw.
“Alright,” he announced, “nobody moves. We got ourselves a Thanksgiving crime.”
Deano, sitting upright like an orange loaf of innocence, blinked slowly. Billie peeked suspiciously from behind a chair. Oreo pretended to study the ceiling. Nacho froze mid-step like a guilty statue. And Samy… was asleep.
Frankie approached the scene. On the floor by the counter was… a single breadcrumb. Then — a faint trail of gravy drops led toward the hallway. He held up the magnifying glass dramatically.
“Aha! Clue #1: The culprit doesn’t clean up after themselves.”
Frankie followed the gravy trail down the hallway, turning left… then right… then—
He bumped into Mrs. Smart, who was kneeling beside a very full, very round… Deano, who was licking his paw with suspicious satisfaction.
“Detective,” Mama said with a sympathetic laugh, “I think you found your culprit.”
Deano looked up, eyes wide. "I DIDN’T DO IT,” his expression said. Frankie squinted. "Deano… your face smells like turkey.”
Deano paused. Then, in the tiniest squeak: “…maybe just a lick?”
Frankie crossed his paws. “Buddy, you ate the whole thing.” But before he could hand down his verdict, a soft rustling came from behind the laundry basket. Frankie’s ears perked.
He lifted the basket and gasped… There, surrounded by foil, napkins, and a second turkey bone, was… Nacho. Nacho froze. Tail puffed. Eyes guilty.
Frankie sighed deeply. “Well… well… well. Looks like we got a twist.”
Mrs. Smart laughed so hard she had to sit down. Mr. Smart walked in just in time to see both Deano and Nacho looking like tiny, overstuffed balloons. Frankie raised the magnifying glass triumphantly.
“And THAT,” he declared, “is why you never leave a turkey leg unattended in a house with six cats.”
Mr. Smart shook his head. “Where’s my turkey leg now?” The Cat Pack let out a collective burp. Frankie placed a gentle paw on Mr. Smart’s shoe. “Don’t worry, Mr. Smart, I saved you this.”
He held up the single surviving breadcrumb. Mr. Smart stared. Frankie smiled proudly.
Mrs. Smart announced that her sister was on her way to drop off roast turkey with stuffing. Mr. Smart smiled with relief. Mrs. Smart and Frankie saved Thanksgiving Dinner.
🦃 Case Closed: The Missing Turkey Leg was Never Missing…
It was delicious.

But what happens when that centerpiece goes missing? Panic? Laughter? Maybe a little bit of both?
In our story, Frankie Sinatro, P.I., teaches us that sometimes, the best adventures come from the most unexpected situations. The Cat Pack's antics remind us to cherish the moments we have, even if they come with a side of mischief.
The Importance of Family Traditions
Family traditions are the glue that holds us together. They create a sense of belonging and continuity. Whether it’s gathering for a big meal or simply sharing stories, these moments are precious.
For the Smart family, Thanksgiving is a cherished tradition. It’s a time to reflect on the past year and express gratitude. Each year, they come together to celebrate love, laughter, and, of course, delicious food.
Frankie and the Cat Pack add a unique twist to this tradition. Their playful antics bring joy and laughter to the table. They remind us that family isn’t just about blood; it’s about the bonds we create.
A Lesson in Gratitude
As we enjoy our Thanksgiving feast, let’s take a moment to reflect on what we’re grateful for. It could be the love of family, the warmth of friendship, or even the little moments that make life special.
In our story, Frankie and the Cat Pack remind us to find joy in the unexpected. Even when things don’t go as planned, there’s always a silver lining.
So, as we gather around the table this Thanksgiving, let’s remember to embrace the chaos, cherish the laughter, and savor every bite. After all, it’s not just about the food; it’s about the memories we create together.
